Estimate your monthly home-loan payment, and what the loan costs in total.
An estimate based on the values you enter. Your actual EMI depends on the rate, tenure, processing fees and terms offered by your lender.
The EMI is the standard amortising figure: the same amount every month, with the interest share falling over time as the principal reduces.
It excludes processing fees, insurance the lender may require, and any prepayment charges. Ask for the total cost of the loan in writing, not just the rate.
A longer tenure lowers the monthly figure and raises the total interest — often substantially. Compare the total payable, not only the EMI.
